Cash Ultimate comes from Red Tiger, a studio that’s been pumping out hits since 2014. Based in Malta and licensed by the UKGC, MGA, and other strict regulators, they’ve built a reputation for feature-packed slots with in-house mechanics like Power Reels and Infinireels.

Slot Theme and Storyline

Cash Ultimate is an homage to the golden age of slots and arcade machines with neon lights, fruit symbols, bells, and sevens. Essentially all the stuff you’d expect to see on a pub fruitie, but electrified.

Instead of dressing up in fake narratives about pirates or wizards, it's a pure slot. For me, it’s all about the thrill of spinning, watching the reels lock, and hoping they fill up with multipliers. Also, look out for the jolts of electricity, which will wake you up essentially when the respins set off 1,000x+ multipliers!

The grid runs on 5 reels, 4 rows, and 30 fixed paylines. This results in significantly more fun than your typical 5x3, 10-payline classic slot. You don’t have to toggle paylines or mess around with settings, as every spin is active across all 30 paylines.

Cash Ultimate has a 95.7% RTP and medium volatility. In practice, that means you’ll see wins popping up fairly often, though many of them are small. Cash Ultimate obviously is not as brutal as high-volatility slots, where you can burn through a bankroll in minutes.

When I played, I noticed streaks where I was breaking even spin after spin, only for a Cash Lock round to suddenly boost my balance.

Betting Range

The minimum bet in Cash Ultimate is R0.50, and many South African casinos will let you wager over R1,000 per spin. 

In Cash Ultimate, you can win up to 5,000x your stake. You need to land 20 Cash Ultimate symbols during the feature to scoop the prize.

I didn’t get close to that, but my best session saw me hit around 380x, which seemed like a huge win considering the slot’s medium volatility.

Cash Ultimate doesn’t have a progressive jackpot. At first, I thought that might be a downside, but in hindsight, it fits the slot’s stripped-back style. The 5,000x max win is the jackpot, and it’s achievable if you get that grid packed with symbols.

Land three or more Cash Ultimate symbols, and they lock into place. You then get respins, and every new Cash Ultimate symbol also locks in. The feature ends when no new ones land or if you manage to fill the grid.

Each locked symbol increases the stake multiplier, which can climb all the way to that 5,000x max. The first time I triggered it, I only hit a handful of symbols and scored about 25x. But when I retriggered with my friend watching, the screen lit up with bolts of electricity, and I walked away with a 180x prize.
