Norwich City midfielder Forson Amankwah has shared his thoughts on The Canaries' ambitious targets for the 2024-25 season, his seamless transition to life in Norwich, and the electrifying atmosphere of the Championship.
Forson Amankwah, the 21-year-old Ghanaian sensation, has swiftly become a household name among football enthusiasts worldwide. His remarkable rise to prominence began at WAFA, where he showcased exceptional talent before joining RB Salzburg.
Amankwah's impressive performances in the UEFA Champions League and Austrian Bundesliga caught the attention of Norwich City, who secured his signature in the summer transfer window.
The talented midfielder inked a four-year deal with The Canaries, aiming to help the team regain Premier League status.

While numerous talented players have struggled to adjust to new clubs, Ghana's rising star, Amankwah, has seamlessly integrated into Norwich City's tight-knit football community.
"Coming to Norwich City was an easy decision. The club's tradition and legacy excited me. I settled in immediately, because everyone around the club was willing to help me, head coach Johannes Hoff Thorup and my teammates have been incredibly supportive, ensuring I feel at home at Carrow Road. Regular check-ins have helped me settle quickly,” he told SportsBoom.com.
The coach has been fantastic. He's taken his time to integrate me into the system smoothly, explaining what he expects from me and guiding me through training. I'm really loving the atmosphere here and praying l give my best to the club.

THE EFL CHAMPIONSHIP FRAGRANCE
Despite being the second tier, the EFL Championship's competitiveness surpasses some European leagues in terms of branding, financial muscle, and overall appeal. This allure has drawn talented players like Amankwah to the Championship.
"The Championship's competitiveness and unpredictability drew me in," Amankwah said. "The electric atmosphere is amazing. I didn't hesitate to join Norwich City."
The Black Stars midfielder also acknowledged the league's physical demands but emphasised his commitment to training hard.
"It's a new challenge, and the Championship's physicality is intense," he admitted.
"But we're dedicated to staying fit and delivering our best for the fans." he continued by saying “The joy is to see them happy after every match."
A SYNCHRONIZED PROMOTION PUSH
For Yellows fans, the ultimate goal is clear: Premier League success. However, the Canaries' struggles to establish a permanent top-flight presence have made it a distant dream.
But with the arrival of exciting talents like Ante Crnac, Forson Amankwah, José Córdoba, Oscar Schwartau, and Lucien Mahovo, Norwich City has turned the page on last season's Championship playoff heartbreak against Leeds United.
"My personal goal aligns with the club's: securing Premiership qualification," Amankwah said. "With just a few matches into the season, we're confident in achieving this target."
"The coach has set the target, and as a player, I must give my all," he stated.
"We have an amazing history, and every player dreams of preserving it. I'll take it one game at a time, ensuring I give my best performance,” Amankwah concluded.
