In the base game, the Mark of the Beast strikes randomly after a winning spin to transform the grid with one of two modifiers:

• Remove Feature: When you land a win with low-paying royals, the Mark may burn those symbols away. This triggers cascading tiles where new symbols drop into the empty spaces, but the happy catch is that the removed symbol will not appear in that specific cascade
• Upgrade Feature: If you hit a win line with high-paying symbols like the Scroll or Skull Potion, the Mark can burn the reels to upgrade that symbol. This boost happens instantly, causing the symbol to pay out an upgraded multiplier for the current spin.
